Tavia Forbes

Tavia’s introduction to design began at home, influenced by her father—a skilled craftsman who taught her to appreciate the beauty of materials and the art of making. She went on to earn degrees in Marketing and Studio Art from Stony Brook University, a foundation that informs her seamless integration of creative vision and thoughtful execution. This unique blend of artistic training and strategic thinking continues to shape her distinctive approach to interior design.

Tavia approaches each project with the curiosity of a scholar and the eye of an artist, drawing from historical research, design theory, and the natural world to craft spaces that are layered, intelligent, and deeply personal. She sees interiors as living stories—where form and function meet memory, culture, and emotion. She is particularly drawn to sustainable practices—favoring natural materials, long-lasting craftsmanship, and design solutions that honor both the environment and the people who inhabit the space. Her work reflects both a deep respect for the past and a forward-thinking creative spirit.

Monet Masters

Monet has always been deeply creative, with an intuitive sensitivity to the emotional impact of space. From an early age, she saw the home not just as structures, but as emotional landscapes. She observed how subtle shifts in placement, structure, and color could shape the emotions and experiences of the people within it.

This curiosity blossomed into a fascination with the psychology of design. She began asking a powerful question: How does a space make you feel? This became central to her artistic journey and led her to pursue interior design. With her family’s support, she earned her BFA from the Savannah College of Art and Design, where she honed both her artistic and technical skills. While at SCAD, Monet trained under industry professionals – experiences that sharpened her craft and positioned her to grow into a confident designer and emerging industry leader.

As a student and now a mentor, Monet continues to evolve, pairing her growing expertise and generous spirit. She actively gives back to local students, offering real-world experiences and nurturing a culture of authenticity, innovation, and mutual learning. Her work is rooted in empathy, driven by purpose, and inspired by the belief that spaces, when thoughtfully created, can elevate, heal, and connect us.
