Melanie Davis Design
Melanie studied Fine Art at the University of Georgia's Lamar Dodd School of Art, where she took extensive classes in interior design, photography, painting and art history. She approaches her design work as an artist, which gives her a unique ability to create custom pieces for her interiors and work closely with other artists. Her interior design work can be seen in books including Classical Interiors: Historical and Contemporary by Elizabeth Meredith Dowling and Coming Home: The Southern Vernacular House by James Lowell Strickland, as well as in publications such as Garden & Gun, The Wall Street Journal and Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles. Davis was part of the 2007 class of Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles 20 Under 40, the 2014 Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles Serenbe Designer Showhouse and was one of the 2016 Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles Kitchen of the Year Winners. Her art work has been shown at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia and is part of private and corporate collections. She works closely with clients to create custom pieces and help them build their collections.
